About the YPC Justice Network

Our YPC Justice Network meets virtually weekly and was created to provide a space for community-building, resource sharing, and skill-building for youth ages 14-26 who have been impacted by Maine’s juvenile justice system. These meetings are paid opportunities, and help young people learn to share their voice in effective, meaningful ways.

Goals of the YPC Justice Network

YPC helps to connect young people to adult mentors, policy makers, state partners, funders, and professional development opportunities.

Join the YPC Justice Network Today

If you are a young person ages 14-26 who has been involved with Maine’s criminal legal system, we would love for you to join us! For more information about what we do, who we are, and how to get involved, please send us an email at [email protected].

More Opportunities to Make Change!

Outside of our weekly Zoom space, YPC provides a number of paid opportunities for our Justice Network young people, both in terms of connections to supports and services, as well as events such as conferences, workshops and trainings.

We also provide opportunities for youth to visit the Maine State House and interact directly with legislators about issues that are important to them.
